The Foundation believes that education is critical to a child’s development and well-being. It’s projects and programmes in education will support different initiatives that educate children from pre-school age through adolescence.
The Foundation therefore aims at giving girls and boys equal learning opportunities, to build a better future for themselves, their families and help to alleviate poverty. The is in consonance with goals 2 and 3 of the Millennium Development Goals which ensures that children everywhere will be able to complete a full course of primary school, thereby eliminating gender disparity in primary and secondary education by 2015. Again, it also reflects on the national development agenda GPRS 2 which improves human resource development.
