The Otumfuo Foundation on Thursday, January 9, 2025, joined the third cohort of trainees of the “Invest In Her” project sponsored by the World University Service of Canada (WUSC) during their graduation at the Akenten Appiah Minka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneural Development (AAMUSTED), Kumasi.
There were 76 trainees, of which 15 graduated with a certificate in Welding and Fabrication and the remaining 61 in Computer Hardware, Networking and Programming after 6 months of intensive training.

The Invest In Her project is a collaboration between the World Univesity Service of Canada and the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, which was initiated in 2020 to provide skills training to urban young girls/females in male-dominated trades.
In 2024, the Foundation through the World Universities Service of Canada (WUSC) program “Invest In Her” project graduated from the Akenten Appiah Minka University of Skills, Training and Entrepreneural Development (AAMUSTED), with certificates in Computer Hardware, Networking and Programming.
In addition, the Otumfuo Foundation also sponsored some of the students with weekly stipends to cater for some of their financial needs.
