*Welcoming Mrs. Akosua Boadiwaah Adu-Gyamfi: The New Administrator of the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation*

It is with great pleasure that we introduce Mrs. Akosua Boadiwaah Adu-Gyamfi as the newly appointed Administrator of the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation. Bringing over 15 years of rich experience in development across Ghana, Akosua is set to play a key role in our mission to foster innovation and transformation throughout Africa.

Her professional journey is marked by significant achievements, starting with her role as regional manager for the Law Reform Commission in Ahafo and Bono East regions. Between 2008 and 2010, she contributed substantially to the “Ascertainment and Codification of Customary Law Project”, an initiative critical to shaping the customary law framework in Ghana, in alignment with the mandates of the National House of Chiefs.

In her impactful tenure with the Northern Empowerment Association, Akosua spearheaded the Leyaata Project across the Bono, Bono East, and Savannah regions. This maternal, child, and newborn health project, funded by the Canadian Government and Moskoka Initiative, significantly benefitted over 9,000 mothers and children and extended its reach to more than 100,000 community members.

Prior to her engagement with our Foundation, Akosua honed her skills in various sectors, including education, job placement, and manufacturing. Her work in these areas, particularly in enhancing trade protocols and facilitating access to the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), showcases her dedication to sustainable development and economic growth.

Mrs. Adu-Gyamfi’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from the Catholic University of Ghana, and a Master of Arts in Governance and Sustainable Development from the University of Cape Coast. Her blend of academic knowledge and practical experience makes her an ideal fit for the role of Administrator at our Foundation.

At the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, we strive to utilize innovation as a catalyst for the development and transformation of Africa. Mrs. Adu-Gyamfi’s appointment as Administrator is a step forward in our journey to realize the ideals, values, and visions of our patron, the Asantehene, and the Asante Kingdom. We warmly welcome her aboard and eagerly anticipate the advancements and positive changes she will bring to our team.

We are excited to have Mrs. Akosua Boadiwaah Adu-Gyamfi join us as the Administrator of the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation.
