Lady Julia Brings Joy to Over 500 Children at Easter Party in Redeveloped Kumasi Children's Park

Lady Julia Osei Tutu hosted over 500 children from Kumasi orphanages and children's homes at an Easter party celebration at the redeveloped Kumasi Children's Park.

As part of this year's Easter festivities, the Foundation, under the direction of Her Royal Highness Lady Julia Osei Tutu, wife of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, hosted a memorable Easter party for children drawn from several orphanages and children's homes across Kumasi.

The event doubled as a celebration of the newly redeveloped Kumasi Children's Park, the city's only recreational and leisure facility dedicated to children and families in the Garden City. The park's redevelopment was initiated by Lady Julia, with the first phase generously sponsored by First Atlantic Bank.

Over 500 children from five institutions, namely the Kumasi Children's Home, SOS Village, Garden City Special School, King Jesus Charity Home, and All Nations Charity Home, joined Her Royal Highness for an afternoon filled with laughter and activity. The children enjoyed live music, dancing, swimming, face painting, a trampoline, and a bouncy castle, all capped off with a sumptuous feast.

The initiative underscores the Foundation's continued commitment to the welfare and development of vulnerable children in the region, while restoring a treasured public space for families across Kumasi to enjoy for years to come.

The Foundation welcomes donations and partnerships from individuals, organizations, and corporate bodies who share its vision of transforming the lives of children in our communities.
