Two-Storey Teachers’ Apartment at St. Louis Senior High School
The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation has once again underscored its commitment to education with the commissioning of a two-storey teachers’ apartment at St. Louis Senior High School in Kumasi.
The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation has once again underscored its commitment to
education with the commissioning of a two-storey
teachersâ apartment at St. Louis Senior High School in Kumasi. Funded by the Ghana National Gas Company Limited and constructed by Living Grace Company Ltd, the new facility provides much-needed
accommodation for teachers dedicated to shaping the future of Ghanaâs youth.
With a student population exceeding 5,500
and a teaching staff of 229, only 30 teachers previously resided on campus.
The new apartment building thus offers a major relief, ensuring more teachers
can live on-site and remain closely engaged with students. Each flat is
thoughtfully designed with two
bedrooms, a hall, a kitchen, and two washrooms, providing comfort, privacy, and convenience for
the schoolâs teaching staff.
Representing His
Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the
Otumfuo Hiahene and Board Chairman
of the Foundation, Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II, officially commissioned the facility on behalf
of the Foundation, alongside a representative from the Ghana National Gas
Company Ltd.
This project reflects His Majestyâs broader vision to create an
enabling environment where both teachers and students can thrive. By providing
dignified accommodation and essential resources, the Foundation continues to
enhance the teaching and learning experience, ensuring that education in Ghana
remains inclusive, comfortable, and of the highest quality.
